KPOPlacements.com organized its first ever exclusive job fair and convention for the lawyers and other key professionals in the knowledge outsourcing industry. The event received a remarkable response with 24 KPO/LPO companies and over 500 participants attending the event. Some of the most noticeable employers who attended the fair were Infosys, Quattro, EXL, Intellextra, and United Lex. A number of employers conducted their on spot recruitment process, while rest interacted and collected a number of resumes of several job seekers.

The Job Fair was a breakthrough in many ways in the KPO industry. It was not just first only job fair for the KPO industry, but also featured a panel discussion which had presence of some the most eminent personalities from legal outsourcing industry including Mr. Rajiv Goswami, CEO, Intellextra, Vijay Srivastava, VP- HR, United Lex, Prateek Natekar, VP – Operations, IDS Infotech, Sumathi Krishanmurthy, Head – Operations, Maximus LPO, and Rajiv Ranjan, Director – IPR, Airware LPO. The panel discussion resulted in uncovering some useful information about future prospects about the LPO industry and possible career opportunities. A number of young and experienced lawyers and professionals interacted and resolved a number of queries in the session. According to Mr. Rajeev Goswami, CEO, Intellextra, “This is an innovative idea to bring all the students and corporations together where they can interact face to face. This convention is benefiting to both industry and student fraternity wanting to join LPO.”

Further, a number of students acknowledged the importance and benefits of this convention and job fair. While a number of them asked some serious questions to the members at the panel discussions, others visited their stall and took some personal interviews and asked questions relevant to their job prospects. According to Anshul Baranwal, Law Graduate, “I am satisfied with the panel discussion. I have got more knowledge from the LPO Convention and Job Fair. There is a very big scope of LPO companies to provide jobs to young graduates.” LPO Convention and Job Fair was a real eye opener for a number of graduates and employers seeking job seekers under one roof.
