European Technology Center North America (ETC NA) represents European niche high-tech suppliers, specialized in advanced manufacturing technology solutions for tube processing. (See examples below.) For diesel applications, it provides systems to manufacturers of diesel injection components (common rails, tubes, and injectors) and diesel exhaust systems (diesel particulate filters and exhaust pipes). ETC NA will be exhibiting at the SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition in Rosemont, Ill., on Oct. 6 and 7, 2009, as part of the Truck Tech France Pavilion, booth 607.For more information, please contact:
Aquarese has developed high-pressure processes for diesel injection systems (common rails, tubes, and injectors). Its design department integrates those processes in automated lines including machines for deburring, flushing, cleaning, and the “autofrettage” technique. The autofrettage technique significantly increases the fatigue resistance behavior of hollow mechanical parts.
EMS parts
EMS is a well-known machine builder for tube-end forming technology when it comes to complex shapes and materials. In the exhaust industry, the company provides technology to make components such as Diesel Particulate Filters, EGR-Coolers and a variety of exhaust tubes.
Jammes’ SEAMSTAR
Jammes has a well-known reputation in the manufacturing industry for creating modular solutions for roll-forming and welding tubular shells. Jammes can process a variety of cylindrical, oval, cone, and multi-radii parts. In the diesel industry the machines are used to make filter shells, inlet, outlet tubes, and heat shields. The SEAMSTAR continuous welding machine produces 240 welded shells per hour.
