CLAUDE JOHNSON guitar control a fraud?

July 17th, 2009

The question we were sent to find an answer to, “Is Claude Johnson a fraud?” led us to a series of websites, each with its own guarantees and claims of teaching students eager to learn the art of the guitar.  We wanted to know if there were conflicting statements, if the handful of dissatisfied customers had legitimate claims and whether or not Johnson could meet the promises made to willing customers via these sites.

After having researched the hundreds of customers who posted comments singing his praises, and assuring ourselves they were indeed legitimate customers, it’s our belief each provided accurate statements of satisfaction; and in fact, most insist there’s simply no one better to provide these lessons.  Praises include an approach that eases a student on any level of expertise into the next level of skill, a well-produced and professional series of digital videos and a man who’s providing these lessons who is truly passionate about his chosen line of work

So where did these complaints come from and were they accurate?  Our best answer came from Johnson himself:

“Due to an overwhelming demand for our first DVD series, there was no way we could have anticipated just how fast this business would take off.  It’s always been my dream, but even I was stunned at not only the demand, but the feedback of those who were convinced I could help them.  Word of mouth is by far the most powerful marketing tool any business can employ.  As a result, I severely underestimated the number of customer service personnel I would need to meet the demand.  This led to emails that weren’t answered, phone calls that weren’t returned and unfortunately, a small group of dissatisfied customers who felt as though they’d just been taken.”

Bottom line?  Johnson’s DVD series are definitely worth a second look and fortunately for Johnson, even some of those who were initially disappointed are convinced enough to reconsider and are finding themselves quite happy with their decisions.  One thing’s for certain, Claude Johnson is definitely not a scam; but he has certainly redeemed himself in the digital marketing arena.
