NyghtFalcon gets SherrillTree Cover

Greensboro, NC and Brooklyn: Clay Thornton, Creative Director for SherrillTree and Falcon, Senior Partner of NyghtFalcon, announced today that a photo by NyghtFalcon Photography has been selected for the cover of the 2008 Master Catalogue for arborist supplies. Release of the catalogue, which is distributed globally, is a much anticipated event.

In 2007, NyghtFalcon completed four assignments for the Sherrill Tree 2008 Catalogue: The first was in New York City at the Botanical Gardens, the second in San Francisco. The third in Orlando and the last in Copenhagen in December. The cover photo is from the San Francisco assignment

Dakota to do the Derby again

Senior officials for the Kentucky Derby announced today that NyghtFalcon Photography will be among the Official Photographers of the Kentucky Derby for the second year in a row. Dakota, Senior Photographer with NyghtFalcon Photography and Managing Director of the Firm’s Central Region, will be stationed at the first turn. The assignment is particularly complex since Dakota will be called upon to use two cameras simultaneously in order to fulfill the requirements of the assignment.

“This is an immense honor to be part of the Official Photography Corp of the Derby a second time,” said Dakota. In last year’s Derby, Dakota was at the finish line.

Several of Dakota’s photos were included in the Official Commemorative Volume released by Churchill Downs last year.

“This is an incredible opportunity and I can only echo Dakota’s words,” said Falcon, the firm’s Senior Partner and Founder. “For Dakota, this assignment will be among the most important of his professional career. All of us at NyghtFalcon Photography will be there with him in spirit.”

Montecristo Photographs goes live

St. Petersburg, FL, March 6, 2008 – MonteCristo Pictures, a Tampa Bay, FL based photography company that specializes in sports and landmark photography, went live with their website today.
