Dr. Zoo is the vision of singer/songwriter Randal Arsenault from Newfoundland, Canada.  For years Randal has lived and traveled in Africa, recently completing his doctorate of zoology on competition between white rhino, wildebeest, zebra and impala. After years of singing to zebras, Randal developed the musical genre “Afro-Celtic Rock and Storytelling”. The 7 piece band includes Juno award winning Youssou Seck from Senegal (African drums and vocals),  Ghanaian singer Nikki Hylton, Afro-reggae bassman Joe Hylton, Irish Multi-Instrumentalist Roxanne Young (fiddle/whistles), Sudanese guitarist David Kabbashi, and Reggae kit drummer Jim Johnston.

Founded 20 years ago by the late Eric “Eazy-E” Wright, Ruthless Records attempts to reclaim its position in the market by inking a new distribution deal with SONY/COLUMBIA and unveiling a lineup of new talent for their upcoming 2008 calendar which includes among others…. one of the hottest acts on social networking sites like youtube and myspace; “STREET RUNNAZ CLICK”.

Before the Soulja Boy’s and the Batman dances this trio held down the #1 unsigned rap group position in Georgia for over 2 years on myspace and generated millions of views from youtubers all over the world with their song “JIG WIT IT”. Their internet persona’s ultimately gained the attention of RUTHLESS RECORDS and after serious negotiations the group found themselves a new home.

In 1987 at age 23 Eazy E sold more than 500,000 units of the “Boyz N The Hood,” record throughout South Central Los Angeles by word of mouth alone and launched Ruthless Records with $7,000 of his own money thereby shaping the face of rap music as we know it today. Those are some big shoes to fill for the Atlanta, Ga trio of Trillest Beets, J Riva and Free Sinatra all age 19.

Due to their unique nature and worldwide presence via the internet, Street Runnaz Click is slated to be the 1st release of the year despite being the last signed to the label in 2007. With the long awaited Jig Wit IT music video complete as well as their brand new single “GET LOW” and music video. Other new faces of 2008 Ruthless Records includes a Latin pop singer Agina, R&B singer Nashay, hip-hop lyricist Hopsin, mid-western rapper Stevie Stone.

George Tisdale: Innovator of Urban Retro Rock signs with Murray Media
Music and gains International Distribution with Crownn Recordings

Atlanta, GA – March 4, 2008 – Murray Media Music and George Tisdale, Innovator of Urban Retro Rock are breaking new ground with the Born Free Movement, by releasing the first phase of Tisdale’s highly anticipated album “Liberation” in the spring of 2008. George Tisdale recently signed with Murray Media Music of Atlanta, GA, which completed a deal with Crownn Recording Group of Munich, Germany, for the international release of all four phases of the Born Free Movement. “Born Free Phase 1: Liberation”, will be released in the United States by Murray Media Music.

The skillfully composed 5-track mini-album, produced by Simon Illa, Unbreakable Music and written by Tisdale and emerging songwriter Summer Galvez, was recorded and mixed in part at Gamble and Huff’s Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. “Liberation” speaks to the substance of equality, individual emancipation, freedom from personal inhibitions and the joy of living a liberated life.
