Appease Kalabhairava now and see how your time management improves

November 3rd, 2009

The importance of Kala Bhairava is not immediately apparent and not known to many. But for those acquainted with astrology, the 8 nights of Kala Bhairava hold a special significance.

Bhairava is the fierce form of Lord Shiva in His aspect as the destroyer of the things that manifest in creation. Kalabhairava is usually depicted in a fierce form decorated with serpents and carrying the forth head of Brahma.

Astroved views Kalabhairava as the Lord of Time and capable of conferring vision and clarity to the seeker. He also blesses the devotee with knowledge and resources to fulfill those goals. As a result, the seeker’s resolve gets strengthened and the goals come within reach. Bhairava helps tide over bad times in the form of laziness, lethargy and idleness. There is a discerning awareness of not getting tangled to unrewarding/unproductive actions.

Astroved.com, a consumer internet portal specializing in Vedic traditions, finds a following among many Americans and Europeans who evince interest in Hindu festivals and astrological events. The Vice President K Baskaran says,” There are a lot of hidden sources of wisdom that anyone can dip into and benefit enormously. Kalabhairava is our attempt to raise awareness of time management”.

Astroved will be observing the 8 nights of Kalabhairava by performing a group homa. Each night, each of the 8 powerful forms of Kalabhairava, the Lord of Time, will be invoked starting 2nd November, 2009. The last day, 9th November is especially significant to receiving the blessings of one’s ancestors.

Astroved has scheduled a live telecast of the event on the 2nd November and the last day on 9th November 2009. The timings of the Kala Bhairava Fire Ritual is from 07:30 AM to 10:30 AM EST on both these days. Everyone can view the LIVE Fire Ritual at http://www.astroved.com/live.asp.

Toronto, Canada Oct 16th 2009 – Having the best selling wellness bracelet in North America is one thing, but to keep up with fashion trends and consumers’ needs – you have to go out and see what people are buying.  Having a heavy presence in the Jewellery market, Q-Ray saw that imported Rose Gold Fine Jewellery was a real trend going into the 2010.   Since Q-Ray’s are worn every day by most wearers, they have to look good as well as perform.

Q-Ray & Sanya Richards Head to 2009 IAAF World Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

August 11th, 2009

The only thing Sanya Richards changed after getting together with Coach Hart was put on a Q-Ray bracelet.  Team USA will have the world watching Aug 15th in Berlin, Germany.

Toronto, Canada Aug 10th 2009 – Sanya Richards has worn her Q-Ray for all her competitive races since 2006.  Watching her “fly” around the track is a spectacular sight.  The world will be watching Aug15-23 in Berlin, Germany.  Sanya Richards dominates the women’s 400 metre event.  She won her first American title at the USA Track and Field National Championship in Oregon.   She is currently ranked #1 in 400m by Track and Filed News. You may notice that when she competes she always wears her “silver bullet” necklace around her neck and her Q-Ray bracelet on her wrist.  The necklace – a gift from her mother was given to her because “she is faster than a silver bullet”.  When Sanya saw her coach Clyde Hart wearing a Q-Ray bracelet, Sanya put one on and has been wearing it ever since.

Sanya says it like it is “I have worn Q-Ray for every race I have won over the last three years.  If it is luck or my Q-Ray – I do not know, but why take a chance”.  “ Athletes’ all over the world feel the same way about Q-Ray, tune into any major sporting event these days and what you see is a dedicated following of Q-Ray wearers.

July 28th, 2009

Brooklyn, NY ( PressReleaseRoom ) July 27, 2009 – Young people nowadays are growing with more awareness and concern for the environment and global concerns. These interests are influencing the product offerings of online retailers like Favors-n-Gifts.com.

“Teenage girls nowadays have a variety of interests, and their parents have a variety of budgets. Our line of Sweet 16 favors reflects that variety”, says Grace Cheung, owner of Favors-n-Gifts.com.

Whereas Sweet 16 parties of previous years were girly, frilly parties, current coming-of-age parties for girls reflect their wider consciousness today.

“Previously, most young ladies wanted princess-themed parties. They wanted to have a big ball with all the trimmings. Nowadays we are seeing more toned down parties that reflect the celebrant’s personal interests and passions”.

Some of the more current and hip Sweet 16 party ideas include eco-friendly or environment-themed parties, reality TV, 1980s retro, and spa theme.

“Favors-n-Gifts.com responds to the ever-changing needs of our clients by continuing to provide fresh choices”, adds Cheung. “Our Sweet sixteen favors range from casual to elegant, and suit all budgets – from recession-conscious to all-out celebration”.

Favors-n-Gifts.com is based in New York but ships anywhere in the world. Cheung also provides customer support through web chat and Email.

Founded by a work at home Mom, Favors-n-Gifts.Com was established in 2004 to make wedding planning less stressful, less expensive and more joyful for brides-to-be. The Best College Stress-Reliever Has Only One Pesky Side Effect…Side Splitting Laughter!

July 28th, 2009

BeverlyHills, CA ( PressReelaeaseRoom ) July 28, 2009 – When the stresses of studying and coping with college life reach a boiling point, the remedy does not require a doctor’s prescription. Neither does it call for fake I.D. or cause you to wake up bleary-eyed and fuzz-brained. The best pressure release is laughter, and it comes not in a pill bottle or beer can—it comes in a book: Party Thru College : The Official Party Animal’s Guide to College, by Dennis Bruce. The only caution is that readers might end up with sore sides from incessant snickering, chuckling, and guffawing.
This laugh-a-line spoof puts college into perspective and is best taken liberally at the first signs of stress. In a world where the price of a college education is on the rise, students want to make the most out of the best years of their collegiate lives. Let’s face it: everybody in college wants to get the best grades by doing the least amount of work possible, and party all night and day! They need relief from the stress of all that work. Party Thru College will make them laugh out loud!
The point the author makes is that “screwing up is not the same thing as flunking out.” This hilarious insight includes the art of cramming and pulling all-nighters, dealing with teachers like the “Ex-Hippie Teacher,” 24 excuses not to study, the best places to party, how to pick up college girls, dressing the part, and much more. And it’s all in fun!

Through the book, humorous and colorful illustrations accompany the reader on their journey to becoming the best “pseudo-student wastoid.” The images make this larger- than-life spoof pop off the pages. It even contains riotous graphs, charts, and diagrams!

Many years ago, Dennis performed on the East Coast at famed comedy clubs such as the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City and at Caroline’s in Manhattan. Dennis also appeared on HBO and on various talk shows, and was awarded Moosehead Beer’s Funniest Comic in America. Currently, he channels his comedic energy into his writing!

Some of the best chapters cover the “essentials” of the college student’s educational career. These include items such as:
•    How to take an essay exam without having to study
•    How to write impressive term papers with little or no effort
•    The easiest ways to pick up college girls
•    The best places to party
•    The art of vomiting
•    How to handle faculty
•    The wide world of career opportunities available to college “screw-ups”

FRENCH SMES TO BEAT THEIR PARTICIPATION RECORD AT THE CENTENNIAL LE BOURGET PARIS AIR SHOW THIS MONTH

Chicago, June 2, 2009 (word count: 336)

A high-resolution logo is available on request.

Some 400 SMEs/SMIs will be featured at the French Aerospace Suppliers space during the Le Bourget Paris Air Show 2009. The grouping constitutes the first company collective to attend the Paris Air Show. The world’s biggest trade show dedicated to aerospace will give these companies the opportunity to show off their new technologies in an area of more than 4,000 square meters from June 15 to 21, 2009.

This year the international event, bringing together aerospace professionals, will give the entire area of Hall 4 to the suppliers of the French industry in the sector. About 400 SMEs/SMIs and three aerospace competitiveness clusters, ASTECH, AEROSPACE Valley and EMC2, will be presenting their products and technical innovations. They will be grouped together under the label “French Aerospace Suppliers,” with the aim of promoting the know-how of businesses in the sector. Federated by the various Chambers of Commerce and regional players (CENTRECO, AREX PICARDIE, Chamber of Commerce and Industry [CCI] of Rhône Alpes, the Pays de la Loire mixed economy company, the Midi Pyrénées and Aquitaine regional CCIs and the CCIs of Paris, Versailles and Seine et Marne), these companies are representative of France’s main regions.

The professionalism, dynamic thrust and capacity for innovation of these French SMEs/SMIs are well known, for they have made a considerable contribution to the success obtained by France’s aerospace industry, whose principal aircraft builders are famous throughout the world. In order to provide continuous information on these companies, a permanent promotional space has been set up on the initiative of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the form of a website. This bilingual portal for exchanges between aerospace professionals (www.espace-aeronautique.com) groups together more than 380 SMIs. Apart from a comprehensive directory and some highly useful links, it also provides information on international events likely to interest specialists in the sector.

French companies are assuredly at the leading edge of their technologies. Check out the aerospace experts in Hall 4 at the Le Bourget Paris Air Show, from June 15 to 21.

Prominent Baltimore Caterer Unveils

July 8th, 2008

Baltimore MD: Mt. Vernon Caterer undergoes a recent re-branding elevating their image to align with their current offerings and company values. Launching the new site : www.mtvernoncaterers.com designed by Bill Garrett, of POC Computers, in Tyaskin, MD. They transitioned from a ghosted back light purple theme with no logo to a one with tones of cranberry, elegant gold and a recognizable company logo throughout the site. Before its user interface was very simple, straightforward but lacking the creative intensity that paralleled the catering company’s talents. Now the site is easy to use, contemporary and more in keeping with their clients needs. Mt. Vernon Caterers arrived at the new concept, logo, and brand message under the direction of communication consultant and branding coach Jessi LaCosta of BlueRio in San Diego, CA.

“I knew our look didn’t do justice to what we are really about. It was great when we started, but now we need an updated, relevant presence. It speaks to our subtle sophistication, results-oriented approach and dedication to reflecting our clients’ wishes when delivering the final product.

Bill is such a warm and honest man and was immediately easy to work with. Jessi has an authentic way of approaching branding. She helped us focus our visions so that our image and language mirrored who we are and what we offer.” -Kim McCain – Mt. Vernon Caterers

Primary colors for the company are teal/turquoise blue and khaki-inspired gold revealing elegance dependability, loyalty and a modern approach. The site is very easy to navigate and presents more helpful information for current and future catering clients.

A Mom Creates a Positive Response to Bullying

A MOM CREATES A POSITIVE RESPONSE TO BULLYING

The new trend in cyber bullying, various campus rampages and threats, and teen suicides have rattled the nerves of parents across the country. Tina Mansfield, a mom and graphic designer living in Kingwood Texas, decided to use her skills to respond to an increasingly egocentric, mean and competitive environment among our youth. She has designed a ring called String-Ring — The Kindness Reminder.

The attractive sterling silver ring is designed to be threaded with interchangeable colored strings and is inspired by the old custom of tying a string around your finger to remember something, in this case … kindness. Each ring comes with a set of 10 strings, each color representing a particular act of kindness.

Worn as inspirational jewelry, the ring is designed to help us remember kindness, consideration and respect towards others” says String-Ring creator, Tina Mansfield. “I believe by simply reminding people of their innate desire to be kind, we can ease social pressure, bullying and acts of retaliation. Kindness is something we should emphasize and teach to our children through our words and own actions.”

Tina has donated the first 100 String-Rings to The Rachel’s Challenge Project. Rachel was the first victim of the Columbine school shooting in 1999 and her father, Darrell Scott, travels the globe speaking to high-school students at assemblies in the hope of promoting kindness and tolerance.

According to String-Ring owner, “As the new trend begins in enlightened business, the corporate world recognizes that the time is right for a change in the way we view the world — our attitudes and directions, especially in our schools. The need to move towards unity instead of separateness is imperative. By wearing a String-Ring, people will join our growing kindness community and will share in a uniting message that each one of us is a member of a community and therefore have inherent responsibilities, such as acknowledging that our actions have consequences.”

“We are in the process of creating a kindness blog. Here, kids can share their own acts of kindness”

String-ring was designed by Tina Mansfield, a graphic designer and mother, who was concerned with a noticeable lack of respect and kindness between co-workers, children and adults, and between peers. In addition to being a very attractive piece of jewelry, a String-Ring reminds us to slow down and treat our neighbors with respect and kindness.
