The French competitiveness cluster Route des Lasers is presenting Cordouan Technologies  at Photonics West 2009 in San Jose, Calif. The company will introduce its optical metrology product MIROMA on the French Pavilion at booth 1714 from Jan. 27 to 29.

Based on a patented technology developed by the CEA (French Atomic Energy Commission), the MIROMA analyzer is a unique instrument for laser wavefront distortion measurements and beam diagnostic. MIROMA uses an Iterative Method of Wavefront Reconstruction by Multiple Acquisitions. The great advantage of this innovative method is the determination of the distribution of the complex field (intensity and phase) of the laser in any arbitrary propagation plan with a very high spatial resolution.

Thanks to its high sampling resolution, the MIROMA analyzer allows to measure high frequency wavefront distortions very accurately. Provided with a user friendly and advanced graphical interface, MIROMA is a very powerful and complete tool for beam diagnostic. This instrument is perfectly dedicated for laser amplification line experiments and in particular for ultrashort pulse generation applications.

The Route des Lasers competitiveness cluster,  through its governing body ALPhA, gathers industry, research, and education actors from the optics and lasers sector in Bordeaux, France. It aims at facilitating optics and lasers technology development and diffusion, primarily lasers systems and their applications, metrology and imaging, and innovating physics, in industrial sectors such as aeronautics and embedded systems, health, vision, chemistry, food industries, electronics, and more.
